There’s enough fodder on Political Twitter today, thanks to the controversial happenings over at Nigeria’s Civil Service.
The man in the eye of the storm is Abdulrasheed Maina, who had been declared wanted by the EFCC and Interpol for stashing away over 2 billion naira Pension funds during the period he headed the Presidential Taskforce on Pension Reforms.
Like a thief in the night, Mr Maina was recalled to the Ministry of Interior in the office of the Civil Service. But Mr Dambazau, the Minister of Interior denied having anything to do with his recall.
Mysterious, right? ‘Cause how in the hell did Maina find himself recalled and promoted? Who signed his employment papers?
Well, President Buhari has since ordered his immediate termination and Cheta Nwanze has a few words to say about that.
