Today is World Aids Day, and to mark the day, @Lade is asking people to recount their first HIV test experience. In this part of the world where HIV/AIDS is attached to stigma, folks are reluctant to do the needful. They think taking that trip to the hospital is asking for trouble, not realising that where HIV/AIDS is concerned, ignorance is so not bliss. Our general attitude towards hospitals and health needs to change.
