The compulsory National Youth Civil Service programme is on. For diasporans, it basically means that for one year, the country owns you. The Federal government determines where you live, when you sleep and wake, dictates what you do throughout camp- think exercise and being subjected to bad food, but the trade-off is, they pay you for your service, even if you spent the entire year doing nothing, really.

Because Nigerians are divided into two broad categories: ajebuta and ajekpako, there are usually sob stories from the former. We have two hilarious ones from Twitter to make your Friday evening.
