There’s probably nothing more crushing as another human exercising complete power over you to violate in the worst ways. How anybody can come through that and still be a fully functioning human being is nothing short of a miracle.

How anyone can go through that and decide to turn the tables on the event and perpetrators and get their power back is mindblowing. It is the definition of taking lemons and making ice-cold lemonade.
