The identity of the man who killed terrorist leader, Osama Bin Laden, has been revealed.

38-year-old Rob O’Neill, was a former member of SEAL Team Six, which killed Bin Laden in a US mission.

O’Neill put down the terroist leader with three shots to his forehead during a raid on Abbottobad, in Pakistan, on 2 May 2011.

After 16 years of service, the decorated Navy SEAL retired and decided to come out and show his face as the killer of the feared Bin Laden.

He reportedly took the decision to reveal himself to the world, because some of his military benefits had been withdrawn.

Rob’s father, Tom O’Neill, told MailOnline that he is not afraid of his son revealing his identity.

He said, “People are asking if we are worried that ISIS will come and get us because Rob is going public. I say I’ll paint a big target on my front door and say come and get us.”
