A Federal High court in Abuja has dismissed Senator Dino Melaye’s lawsuit challenging the process of recalling him from the Senate, ordering the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to proceed with the recall process.

Responding, Dino Melaye accused the Governor of Kogi, Yahaya Bello, INEC, top Federal Government and security officers of being behind his travails, stating that the court ruling is ‘appealable.’ This decision of the court will surely test INEC’s resolve on if it’s fully ready to go ahead with the Kogi senator’s recall.
