The day Atiku and Obasanjo shared a hot bowl of Amala

For a long time after leaving office in 2007, both of them were sworn enemies, but then shared interests and mutual enemies has seen them gravitate towards each other, and now, they are even sharing a ‘hot bowl’ of Amala.

OBJ: “Atiku!”

AA: “Sir”
OBJ:“Have you eaten? Come and eat amala with me”

Above is how former Vice-president and erstwhile Customs boss, Atiku Abubakar described how he had a meal of Amala with former President, Olusegun Obasanjo.

Atiku,- who is a presidential aspirant under the opposition party, All Progressives Congress,- was in Abeokuta on Friday, 14 November, to meet with Obsanjo at his hilltop presidential residence in Abeokuta, Ogun state.

After talking politics and state of the nation, Baba Iyabo invited Atiku for lunch, and according to the latter, the pair had a meal of Amala.
