President Buhari has launched an action plan to checkmate violent extremism in the country.

The policy is to be implemented by the National Security Adviser.


The Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai has asked the political class, the Police and, others to continue to ensure that insurgency does not bring out its ugly head again as he claims that the Nigerian Army has done its part on making sure the insurgents are less powerful.


The Minister of Works, Power and Housing, Babatunde Fashola has asked Nigerians to stop saying that all the roads are bad, saying he has toured Nigeria and seen that many of the roads are good and, they only need to be maintained.


The Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun has said only 40 million out of the 70 million Nigerian that should be paying taxes in Nigeria, pay.

She adds that 15 percent of the 40 million comes from PAYE.
