12 reportedly killed in Shiites protest as IGP Adamu meets Buhari

A Shiite protest that turned violent on Monday was the major issue of discussion at a meeting between President Muhammadu Buhari and Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu. At least 12 people, including a police officer, were reported killed and several injured when the protesters clashed with security officers.

Amnesty asks FG probe killings during Shiites protest
