The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has described the incident that took place on Thursday as an offence against God.
The incident, being the disruption of the Eid-el-Kabir prayer at the Ilorin Eid ground in which dignitaries including the Senate president, stoned with sachet water, stones and other objects.
The Emir who doubles as chairman of the Kwara State Council of Chiefs said this during his visit to the state Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, in Ilorin.
The Emir said ths attempts to create chaos at the place of worship and deny Muslims their right of worship were condemnable and a possible invitation of the wrath of Allah, whose abode was invaded by the miscreants.
He further stated that the development was despicable and unfortunate.
