It was a night of glamour and glitz at this year’s City People Entertainment Awards as both new acts and veterans alike came out to receive awards for their hard work over the past year. The annually celebrated event which took place at HNK Event Centre, Admiralty Road, Lekki was indeed a success with a huge turnout and brilliant performances from invited guests such as Wizkid, Mo’Cheddah, Mo’Hits acts Wande Coal and D’Prince, as well as Tiwa Salvage amongst others. Hosted by ace comedians, Julius Agwu and Gbenga Adeyinka, the award show crowned winners such as Tiwa Savage for ‘Female Musician of the Year’, Mbong Amata for ‘Best New Actress’ and Joseph Benjamin for ‘Best New Actor’.
