South African president, Zuma survives another no-confidence vote

South African President, Jacob Zuma has survived another no-confidence vote.

On Tuesday, 384 parliamentarians voted with only 177, supporting the vote of no confidence.

More than half of the voters, 198, opposed the motion while nine lawmakers abstained.

The anti-Zuma coalition did not get a majority to remove the president.

Zuma has now survived eight no-confidence votes in his eight years in office.
