 Who said what last week?

“Kelly Hansome was not arrested [because] if we really intend to do that he’ll not be out. All what we did was involve the law so as not to take matters into our hands like most people might result to in this kind of situation. We just wanted a proper documentation to make him hands off Mohits’ intellectual property.”

An excerpt from Don Jazzy’s statement where he clarified the circumstances surrounding the arrest of Kelly Hansome for using one of his beats.

“We need to regulate prostitution in this country so that if anyone wants to indulge in prostitution, the person should be registered and issued with a license. If we say we want to stop it, it would be difficult. It is done in other countries; let us regulate it by issuing licenses.”

A statement made by the Deputy Senate president, Ike Ekeweremadu, who wants prostitution to be legalized in Nigeria.

“[PFA chief executive] Gordon Taylor attended the hearing with Carlos Tevez on 21 October and was privy to all the evidence presented to the hearing and Carlos’ response. The PFA’s opinion, based on all the evidence presented, is that Carlos Tevez never refused to play for the club. This is accepted by the club in that the charge against Carlos made at the hearing was not one of refusing to play. As such the PFA considers that there is no justification for a fine other than up to the prescribed sanction of 2 weeks wages agreed by the FA, the Premier League and PFA. The PFA has informed the Manchester City Football Club accordingly and Carlos will continue to be supported by the PFA in this regard.”

Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA)’s  statement on Carlos Tevez after his club made a decision to fine him four weeks’ wages.

“I met her at her sister’s wedding. I came because of the groom actually, he was a client of mine when I was working in the bank; this was in 2007. I reluctantly attended the guy’s wedding and when I came, it was almost done but I wanted to see the groom, say hi and go. The first person I saw was Nkechi, I asked her the whereabouts of the groom and she took me to him, afterwards she and I exchanged pleasantries and exchanged phone numbers. Now, we are married.”

Keri Hillson’s tweet last week about a yet to be identified song by a Nigerian artise. She tweets with the handle, @MissKeriBaby

I can tell you that my sister in law is one of the most decent human beings I have ever seen. Why they chose to rubbish her, I don’t know. The truth is, no such happened, nobody had any baby boy for me as a matter of fact, the young girl is getting married this December to an Onitsha man and was actually staying with this man when they alleged she was in my house in the village nursing a baby for me. So the story is all nonsense.”

Enugu State Governor, Sullivan Chime denying the stories that he impregnated his sister-in-law. Social media has been awash with allegations of the Governor of Enugu State, Sullivan Chime, impregnating his wife’s younger sister, Ebere Igwe, a young lady in her mid-20’s.
