Ahead of the end of year festivities, Simisola Bolatito Ogunleye, Nigerian Alternative R&B singer professionally known as Simi, has kicked off the concert season with her Simi Live series. The first of the event tagged, “Simi Live in London,” was held on Sunday, November 11, 2018, at the O2 Academy, Arlington, London, and it has been dubbed a night of surprises by concertgoers. The sold-out show featured incredible live performances and paved the way for the second Live series – “Simi Live in Lagos,” scheduled to hold on Sunday, December 9, 2018, at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, by 6pm.

A host of celebrity guests showed up to the London event to support the R&B Queen with performances from Adekunle Gold, Falz, and surprise appearances from Mr Eazi and Wizkid. In elation and appreciation, the artiste took to social media after the event with the words, “ALL THE GLORY TO GOD. MY KING! MY FATHER! MY EVERYTHING! MY SOURCE!!!! LAGOS ARE YOU READYYYYY??? DECEMBER 9,” in anticipation of the Lagos event.
