Taruwa Festival brought you amazing theatre last year with Bobo Omotayo’s London Life London Living on stage! Amazing acting, a standing ovation and rave reviews. This Wednesday, June 4, 2014, as the second edition of the festival kicks off at Terra Kulture, the stage will be lit even better with ‘The Engagement’, a play written by the award-winning Author and playwright, Sefi Atta.

A family is at odds on the day of their daughter’s engagement ceremony. You think you know where it’s all headed, but you have no idea! Watch as the plot thickens and the twists take new turns! Featuring a brilliant cast and directed by the talented Kenneth Uphopho of ‘Harvest of Soyinka’ plays ‘Trials of Brother Jero’ and‘Death and the King’s Horseman’.
