Lanre Gentry, husband of Nollywood actress has issued a scathing response to reports that he beat his wife.

Earlier today LIB reported that the couple’s marriage had crashed due to acts of domestic violence.

Pictures showed a bloodied Mercy, with a battered eye.

The actress had posted on her Instagram page, saying, “Say NO to DOMESTIC VIOLENCE…… Only a Coward hits a woman! REAL MEN don’t HIT! Repost if you concur ?”

But in a post on his Instagram page, Lanre wrote, “Say No to the promiscuous and irresponsible women”
