Photos following the bomb explosion at the New Road Motor Park in Sabon Gari, Kano around 6pm Monday evening is nothing short of horrifying .
At least twenty person are believed to have died as a result of the explosion.

The president condemned in strong terms the attacks that reportedly claimed 20 lives and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to fighting terrorism in the country.

This is just so sad, but the sooner we realize and accept that this has nothing to do with islam or muslims, and start questioning the government, the better it will be. And this persists, I think we need to stage a protest movement even bigger than the “occupy Nigeria” protests! And let the government know that lives should not be wasted for political motives and experimentations!! Be rest assured people, THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ISLAM, the government needs to be questioned!

No one should blame the President. The best any president can do is what the president is doing right now. We just need sincere members of the northern society to assist with information. Those sponsoring the crime shoud have a change of mind and let all men of goodwill and courage speak up against this barbaric act. If the northern elders did from the beginning, this madness probably would have stopped. They started by criticizing Gej and made it look like the president was weak. Unfortunately for them, the scourge was gradually taking its deep root in the region and has now left d region desolate and isolated. Infrastructure and economic activities are grounded. People are leaving en mass. The northern elders have now come to realize that their region has gone to an ilreedamable state. Its too late to cry when the head is off. Very soon there will be no one left in the north.

Just terrible. Worse part of it is when the president comes out to share his usual uncaring statement of condemnation and nothing is done apart from setting up a money gulping committee. Very sad situation we find ourselves in. Although I still cannot imagine what goes through these people’s brain when they plant a bomb for a fellow man? Sick
