Professor Pat Utomi, renowned political-economist has urged politicians and stakeholders involved in the Rivers rerun election, to ‘remember that there is life after elections’.
The hotly contested rerun elections across the state has lived up to the expectation that it would be violent- with abductions, deaths and electoral malpractices already recorded.
In lieu of this, Pat Utomi took to his Twitter page, to state that his prayers are ‘with the people of Rivers state’.
The former presidential candidate also said it would be more advantageous if Nigerians channel their energies into ‘nation building’ rather than ‘hotly contested ego driven’ elections.
My prayers are with the people of Rivers state. They should remember today that there is life after elections. No matter who wins.

I just wish we could put in as much into nation building and advance of the good of all ad we put into hotly contested ego driven elections
