Remi Sonaiya just spoke the minds of many Nigerians

The Muhammadu Buhari administration has had Nigerians at the edge of their seats and trying to guess what’s next – more than any government since the return of democracy in 1999.

The All Progressives Congress administration blows hot and cold too damn much.

With former Presidents – Olusegun Obasanjo, Umaru Musa Yar’Adua and Goodluck Jonathan – you most often knew what to expect, you could predict the next course of action but today, you just never know.

Perhaps, it’s a function of the times – the era of unpredictability of all and sundry.

While Nigerians – particularly those in Ogoni land – were psyched up that the President would personally flag off the Clean-up of the oil spill in the Niger Delta region, the presidency all but snuffed out the excitement.

And Remi Sonaiya, Presidential candidate for Kowa Party in Nigeria’s 2015 Elections, while agreeing with most Nigerians, hit the nail on the head.

The Vice President had to be summoned to represent his boss who has started a trend of cancelling public engagements.
