For a while Linda Ikeji had millions of fans waiting on her every Instagram post, Toke Makinwa strategic teases us closer with carefully curated visual projects while keeping any real details of her life away from our prying eyes.

Kemi Olunloyo occupies a space somewhere between rabid interest and hate watching. It’s a small circle that is expanding as younger, more ambitious public personalities bully their way into the spotlight and stay there. The newest person to hold our collective interest has been former former child actor and now billionaire bride Regina Daniels.

Daniel’s life is a mirror image of Linda Ikeji’s. They both had careers in entertainment before they came into money, they attained billionaire status relatively quickly and built public personalities that made space for their equally interesting families. Through her production company Regina Entertainment TV,  Mrs. Nwoko is offering audiences a look into her very fabulous life, married as the third wife to a billionaire and building her own entertainment empire will dealing with the struggles of a first pregnancy. Regina Daniels has a close relationship with her immediate family and they feature heavily in the show, building their own careers as supporting characters in the whirlwind that is her life.Her husband Prince Ned Nwoko also features heavily on the show, and executive produces the show, for all the doubters who want to suggest she is forcing her family to take on this production with her.

While people are quick to dismiss reality television, it is a legitimate medium that requires craft and talent to execute properly. Regina Daniels does a great job of crafting a narrative around her family and 6 episodes in, the show’s growing followership suggests she has a ready audience for what she is selling.
