Project Fame last nomination show: A night of classical entertainment

Two major incidents stood out during the last MTN Project Fame Show. First, it was announced that ‘Ghanaian contestant, Kumi had withdrawn from the competition. The talented Ghanaian was forced to exit the show on medical grounds.

Then there was the performance from the contestants. Indeed, it would appear that as the grand finale gets closer, the contestants keep upping the ante.

All six finalists gave good accounts of themselves as they took the followers of the show back in time with their rendition of classical hits.

Ada set the tone as she gave an outstanding performance of Cardinal Rex Lawson’s “So Ala Temen”. Pearl did not do badly either as she did Onyeka Onwenu’s “Alleluya Chimle”. Then Anderson lit up the stage with Harry Mosco’s “Sugarcane Baby”. The tempo went higher with Jeff’s rendition of “Life Go Better For You” by Mike Okri. While the ever blazing Deinde stunned the audience with his cover of Fatai Rolling Dollars “Won Kere Si Number Wa”. Crowning the night was Arewa who got everybody dancing as she performed “Fuji Garbage” by Ayinde Barrister.
