We found a corollary between our President’s presence and his personal photographer’s activities. It’s proven.

When President Buhari took his first medical leave in January, we only became certain he was coming back return when we found that Bayo Omoboriowo was in the same town he as scheduled to land in.

And we weren’t wrong. We wrote about it here.

Again, in April, when the Presidency wouldn’t give acceptable reasons for why President Buhari was not showing up in public, we checked how long it had been since Bayo Omoboriowo had posted a photo he’d taken of the President to ascertain our fears about his terrible state. We weren’t far off because the President took off on his second medical vacation only a couple of weeks after we wrote about our hunch that something was terribly wrong.

This evening, Bayo Omoboriowo finally posted a photo (we believe) he took of the President TODAY!

Just yesterday, the Acting President Osinbajo assured that President Buhari was recovering fast and would be returning soon. Ordinarily, the only way to react to that kind of story is to think: “what else is he to say?”

But in our very solid experience, this photo posted by his personal photographer (and don’t forget all these people spending valuable public office hours and hopefully not tax payers’ money traveling “to see the President) and that kind of information from Professor Osinbajo can only mean one thing.

That President Buhari really is coming back soon.
