The White House has disclosed that President Donald Trump has welcomed Amir Sabah al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah, the leader of Kuwait to the White House.
Kuwait is a staunch American ally trying to meddle in the escalated diplomatic crisis between Qatar and its Arab neighbors – a crisis which could have implications for the U.S. military presence in the region.
President Trump however said he will discuss the diplomatic crisis involving Qatar and its Arab neighbors during the leaders visit. The president also says that the two have what he calls a “great relationship.”
The official Twitter page of the White House which disclosed the visit reads:” Today, President Trump welcomes Amir Sabah al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah of Kuwait to the White House”.
