Police arrest brothel-running ‘prophetess’ in Ogun

The Ogun State Police Command on Friday paraded a prophetess for allegedly running a prostitution ring, using teenagers, Daily Post reports.

Idowu Olupinla, 54, the founder of a white garment, Adura migba Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Ijoko, Ota was said to have used one of the rooms in her apartment as a brothel.

The prophetess was apprehended after some of her victims lodged complaints.

According to the state Commissioner of Police, Hammed Iliyasu, one Haruna Saidat aged 16, and three others lodged complaints against the suspect for using them for prostitution and sending other young girls to neighbouring countries for the same purpose.

The police also paraded one , Richard Abraham, a member of a gang of robbers/kidnappers terrorising residents of Oyo, Lagos and Ogun states.
