People are like cashmere sweaters, They all seem the right fit at first……

You just know when someone doesn’t like you anymore

It’s in the way they don’t look at you like they used to

It’s not like there’s a burning furnace in their eyes when they do

You guys know 2face lied right?

But there’s usually something there if you look hard enough

But then the part they don’t talk about in the love stories happens

The likeness fades away

And you feel like a blank wall

Food loses taste

Colors don’t look bright, everything just seems black

It’s funny how when your heart breaks it doesn’t make one single noise

And then you are scared to try anything new

Everyone seems like the devil

But no you should never do that

It’s sure damn going to be hard

But trust me you’ve just got to find what tickles your fancy, if it’s Fanta then go for it

People are like cashmere sweaters

They all seem the right fit at first

But then you have to try them to find out

And then the thread starts to pull off

There are two things involved when this happens

If the sweater is worth fighting for,you’ll get a lint remover

But if there’s nothing left to fight for, remember there are people out there who need clothes

Then you move on and get a new cashmere sweater

Till you get the right fit

The girl with the sweaty palms…
