The immediate past governor of Anambra, Peter Obi is speaking at The Platform at the moment.
Obi, who lit up the country last October at his first appearance at the event is doing the same today.
Obi, the fifth speaker at Monday’s event, themed, “The Nigerian Economy” is speaking on the topic, “Cutting the cost of governance”.
Obi called on the Finance Minister, Kemi Adeosun, who’s also a speaker at the event to stop giving loans to state governors for baseless projects.
Speaking further he said the country is where it is because of its refusal to save in the past.
He queried why governors will decide to build fly overs when the roads are bad.
Asked a question on the controversial security vote given to governors by the Federal government, Obi simply replied, “Security vote is not in the constitution”.
