Nigerian star actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has said that legislations should be put in place and enforced in order to deal with the issue of domestic violence.
In an interview with Hip TV, the actress noted that to deal with the issue, it has to be taken as a crime as “people who do this have no sense”.
She said it would not be enough to sensitise people, that “we need to go beyond appealing to their sensitivities” and deal with defaulters accordingly.
