Nigeria now has a new Inspector General of Police, Suleiman Abba [DETAILS]

Following the federal Executive Council meeting presided by President Goodluck Jonathan, Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 7, Suleiman Abba, has been appointed as the new Inspector General of Police in Nigeria.

Abba who was the former Aide-de-Camp (ADC) to Maryam Abacha, replaces Mohammed Dahiru Abubakar after the latter attained the mandatory 35 years in service.

MD Abubakar became Inspector General of Police on January 25, 2012 and retires from the Police force, tomorrow, 31 July.
