Militant group, Niger Delta Avengers has denied agreeing to any form of ceasefire deal with the Federal Government.
It is widely believed that the government has sent its officials to enter into dialogue with the militant group.
The Avengers however, said on Tuesday – through its Twitter handle – that “The NDA High Command never remember having any agreement on ceasefire with the Nigeria Government.”

The Niger Delta Avengers, have for the past few months, waged an economic war against the Nigerian state – by bombing and destroying oil pipelines of private and government owned oil companies.
The Federal Government recently ordered the Nigerian Army to withdraw troops from the Niger Delta region in order to effectively dialogue with the Avengers and other militant groups responsible for oil pipeline destruction.
