Mogulettes Africa is an online and female lifestyle community / publication that celebrates African women moguls, support young women startups and mentors the girl child. It was established on the 10th of March 2016 in an effort to contribute to the global movement that uplifts the entrepreneurship ministry of womanhood.
Although, Mogulettes Africa is quite young and bubbly, we achieve some of our goals by partnering with other women organizations to visit schools, campaign for various social causes and also create platforms where women can network and inspire one another while maintaining major social platforms with over 3,000 followers including a Whatsapp group which boast of over 160 active, beautiful and well mannered ladies.
Hence, Mogulettes hangout is another avenue to bring together purpose driven and business minded women who are thriving or starting out in their entrepreneurial journey. It is an interactive platform to celebrate and our women with their diverse business and creative endeavors while sharing life lessons or tips that would propel us forward.
Some of our speakers for the hangout include Debbie Odutayo: Executive Director, R2TV, Temitope Olagbegi: Ceo, Sixth sense Interiors, Bukky Ashafa: Ceo, OBA Couture, Mary Ikoku: Founder, Working Moms Africa, Mercy Makinde: founder, Amazing Amazons Initiatives & Ceo iAspire Radio, Ayo Thompson: OAP/ Host, The Woman and Jumoke Awe: Ceo, Octo Consult Ltd. This year’s hangout attracts a 5,000 naira fee which covers logistics costs and the rest donated to Aunty Ayo Girl’s secondary school in Ikoyi.
Mogulettes Hangout is set to hold on Sunday, 23rd April, 2017 by 2pm. Venue is No9, Olosa Street, off Eko hotel, Victoria island, Lagos.
