We posted the origin of the wahala without comment earlier.
Charles Novia (we knew it was only a matter of time before he talked himself into a buzzsaw) and Uzodinma Okpechi (ordinary one of the brightest lights of Nollywood before cinemas) and, uhm, Moses Ewang (don’t bother).
Anyway, both of them were busy talking on The Gist with Emma Ugolee on Hip TV. They were talking and talking, talking and talking, enjoying themselves, attacking left, right centre. Even daring to call the names of people they should be ‘father-ing’.
And by the time they had fully satisfied the human craving for someone to insult you, Twitter answered them with comprehensive disdain (even Lala Akindoju who generally doesn’t look for anybody’s trouble had some ova-please-respect-yourself tweets to add to the matter).
But we are not here for all of it. You can go and search for Charles Novia on Twitter and let the rain fall on you.
We are just here for the 4 beautiful tweets that the aunty of the whole entire Nollywood, Mildred Okwo reserved for the elders who refused to respect themselves.
Let’s go there.
We lack decorum, grace and wisdom. We are unable to think beyond our immediate want & needs. We never think of the collective…
