Self-acclaimed advocate of common sense, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce has a message for Nigerians youths.
Using his regular medium of disseminating information, Twitter, Senator Bruce tweeted the following:
1-Nigeria’s social media space is so politicized. Very little room for discussions on ideas & innovation, things that move youths elsewhere.

2-Politics shouldn’t be our only focus. Let’s see more of our youths focused on ideas like Chinedu Ocheruo who sold his idea for $1 Billion. — Ben Murray-Bruce (@benmurraybruce) December 3, 2015
3-Its a mistake for our youths to fight each other on basis of PDP/APC. Instead, open up yourselves to discussing ideas and possibilities.
— Ben Murray-Bruce (@benmurraybruce) December 3, 2015
4-Nigeria is changing. Private Sector is growing larger than govt. those with ideas’ll have more influence than those in political offices. — Ben Murray-Bruce (@benmurraybruce) December 3, 2015
5-I can’t for the life of me understand why youths fight for politicians on Twitter instead of uniting to Ideate for a better tomorrow!
— Ben Murray-Bruce (@benmurraybruce) December 3, 2015
6-How many youths are ministers? How many in the NEC of parties? How many are advisers. Youths #Emancipateyourminds don’t fight each other! — Ben Murray-Bruce (@benmurraybruce) December 3, 2015
7-I have just been corrected that Chinedu Ocheruo sold his idea for $1.1 billion. Sell your idea for you future, not your conscience!
— Ben Murray-Bruce (@benmurraybruce) December 3, 2015
8-I get so weak watching youths insult each other on basis of tribe and party affiliations. I got news for you guys-we’re in this together!! — Ben Murray-Bruce (@benmurraybruce) December 3, 2015
9-Politicians fought each other because they were Hausa or Igbo, NPN or UPN instead of uniting and you want to continue that same RUBBISH??
— Ben Murray-Bruce (@benmurraybruce) December 3, 2015
10-This is a picture of Gowon shaking hands with Trudeau in 1973. Today he is PM of Canada. Youths let this sink in! pic.twitter.com/ol8PMDguw9 — Ben Murray-Bruce (@benmurraybruce) December 3, 2015
11-Gowon was President at 32 & at 32 a youth feels comfortable to be the tool failed politicians uses to fight their enemies on Twitter? SMH
