The divorce proceedings involving Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe and her enstranged husband, Lanre Gentry started today in Lagos, TheNetng reports.

According to news platform, the actress was present while Gentry was absent from the proceedings.

Mercy Aigbe, who spoke to TheNETng, said she was shocked to see that upon her arrival, they had transferred her case to another court.

She said, “I don’t know what the Police has up their sleeves, but as it is, they are not forthcoming about my case.”

Aigbe’s lawyer said the legal implications of resisting arrest or not honouring a court proceeding, is that Gentry is at risk of being arrested.
