What would you do? This man was forced to pick between his drowning ex and current girlfriend

After being dumped by her long-term boyfriend, 20-year-old Jun Tang decided to try a newer effective method to win her man back, News.com.au reports.

Her campaign involved “hassling” her ex and also “pressuring” his new girlfriend, 22-year-old Rong Tsao, to dump him in turn. It all got very complicated, so the man in the middle arranged a cordial meeting between his two ladies — “I was sick of being nagged from both sides,” 21-year-old Wu Hsia said, adding, “I became confused about who I wanted so I thought it would be best if we all met and talked about it.”

This was not a good move though. Why would anyone ever think so, in fact?! Once the trio got together for their chat on a bridge (for some reason), the situation got messier still — eventually ex-GF Tang “flipped” and jumped into the river below. Oh, and then new-GF Tsao jumped too, “saying it was her or my ex,” Hsia explained. “I was put in a difficult situation,” he clarified, and, forced to pick only one to save, he chose new love Tsao.

He then called his brother to rescue Tang (whether just because he was tired from saving one or, you know, hoping to pawn her affections off on a relative is not clear). Hsia’s brother eventually called the local fire brigade in turn, who dragged the wet, muddy, and lonely Tang out of the river. News.com.au reports that nobody was injured in the whole messy, wet affair, but photos from the scene suggest Tang’s pink coat might well have been ruined.
