by Damilola Jagun

After enjoying immense success across the country and starting a dance-move, Lil Kesh’s hit single, ‘Shoki’ has been banned by the National Broadcasting Commission.

The ban was announced on Twitter by Beat FM OAP, Toolz, who wrote, “No way! NBC just banned Shoki!!! Ahhhh shoki!”, and added “Apparently Shoki means Quickie in Yoruba”.

Olamide, who signed Lil Kesh to his YBNL label, also reacted to the ban, tweeting, “Looool after round1 origina panadol extra”, while Lil Kesh seemed to take in good faith as he tweeted.

Shortly after the news of the ban spread, Lil Kesh released a freestyle single ‘Last card’.
