Living In Bondage: Breaking Free will be available this May on Netflix, and for those who missed its theatrical showing for some reason, here’s your chance. Under the production company Play Network, Living In Bondage: Breakng Free is easily one of the most standout films from last year, Ramsey Nouah’s directorial debut and a small resuscitation of Nollywood’s horror movie past. Producer Charles Okpaleke made the announcement on his Instagram. There are a couple of projects coming from Okpaleke, including the remake of Nneka the Pretty Serpent due out December.

Buhari orders importation of Madagascar’s covid-19 remedy
Boss Mutapha, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, yesterday disclosed that President Buhari has directed the presidential task force on COVID-19 to pick up the COVID-19 Syrup from Madagascar that has been reported to have plant-based “remedy” for coronavirus.
Mustapha while addressing newsmen at the daily briefing of the taskforce in Abuja yesterday, said Madagascar has donated some of the products to Nigeria through Guinea-Bissau, and arrangements were being made to pick them up.

Orji Kalu to remain in prison
Former Abia state governor, Orji Uzor Kalu is to remain in Kuje prison despite last Friday’s ruling by the Supreme court nullifying his 12-year-conviction. It is not yet certain when Kalu will be approaching the Court of Appeal to ask for his release.
