Senator Dino Melaye is in Russia for official legislative duties.

The 122 thousand people who follow him on Instagram have been treated to over 30 photos (and counting) from the trip and more importantly, the 137th Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly meeting he’s attending.

Melaye has had an impressive run in Russia so far.

He has taken the stage to give a speech (we wish he shared a video instead of this one photo that may have been taken after the hall cleared out):

He has met with Russian president, Vladimir Putin with whom he was in a tight embrace:

He has walked the streets of St Petersburg with uncontrollable joy:

Well, the trip would never be complete without a date night with Nigerians in “Russian diaspora”. We can’t guess what they would be discussing but we hope this meeting does not end up like his appearance in Nottinghill carnival
