[The Legislative Blog]: It looks like Hon. Jibrin has launched his 2019 campaign

No one knows what he could possibly be running for.

Eight months into his suspension and after several attempts to keep the budget padding case fresh in the minds of Nigerians, Hon. Jibrin by all indications is working his way to a higher political office and he is going about it with tact.

It’s nothing that Nigerians haven’t seen before, it’s the classic Nigerian politician way of subtly announcing his intention to run for office, only that it screams louder than intended.

Over the weekend, Hon Jibrin was at his constituency, Kiru/Bebeji where he presented empowerment materials to 500 women. Besides the fact that the lawmaker has been suspended and is not allowed to carry out constituency functions, his constitutional duties as a member of the House of Representatives do not include giving gifts to constituents. So, let’s assume this is sheer goodwill considering it’s not the first time Hon Jibrin is lending an arm to the people of Kiru Bebeji.

But these are some of the photos he tried to get us to pay attention to:

We get the message! We totally do…
