In 2006, operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) seized the sum of $13.5million from a former first lady, Patience Jonathan, according to WikiLeaks.

Details of the seizure was revealed in Chapter 5 of Segun Adeniyi’s Against the Run of Play.

The news network said two Nigerian Air Force jets fired at fighters who had gathered for prayers in Balla village, on the edge of the Sambisa Forest, last Friday.
