1) President Buhari’s biggest shock

Speaking with newspaper executives and editors in Abuja, President Muhammadu Buhari stated that he was shocked when he was informed that oil would sell at $30 instead of $100.

The President lamented that Nigeria has become an oil state, abandoning other sector of the economy.

 

2) D’banj and ‘milked sweat’

The popular musician took to his Twitter account to reveal that a telecommunication company was using his works “illegally”.

His accusations has left many puzzled as many are wondering which company is milking the Koko master’s sweat.

 

3) Operating a drone in Nigeria becomes mission impossible

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) recently announced stiff guidelines that makes flying of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) within Nigeria difficult.

NCAA’s announcement has drawn severe condemnation from Nigerians who view the guidelines as uninformed and detrimental to the tech industry.

 

4) Health workers withdraw from Ekiti state strike

Health workers in Ekiti state have withdrawn from the industrial action embarked upon by the civil servants in the state due to non-payment of salaries.

The medical officers said they decided to pull out of the strike because of the “love and passion they have for the sick and suffering.”

 

5) APC is having financial crisis

The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress, John Odigie-Oyegun, has disclosed that the party has put in place a system whereby party members will have to pay N100 monthly dues.

Odigie-Oyegun also said that the party cannot rely on the President to bailout the troubled party.
