7 terrible things Kayode Ogundamisi wants you to know about Buhari’s government

It certainly is safe to declare that gloomy clouds have cast over the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari despite the gargantuan goodwill it enjoyed before and after the 2015 general elections.

The clouds have cast so thickly that several ardent supporters of the government have turned tail to declare a loss of confidence in the sincerity of the government in delivering it’s campaign promises- one of which was to #BringBackOurGirls.

On Sunday, a video made by the terrorist group, Boko Haram showing some of the kidnapped 219 Chibok schoolgirls- even as a member of the sect announced that some of the girls had died in airstrikes conducted by the Nigerian Airforce- made its way to the internet.

Following the release of the video, the Nigerian Army had declared 3 persons wanted for suspected ties to Boko Haram seeing as they obtained the video to publish on the internet. One of the wanted persons is freelance journalist, Ahmad Salkida.

In an apparent reaction to the declaration made by the Nigerian Army, one-time ardent supporter of the Buhari administration, Kayode Ogundamisi took to his Facebook page to criticise the government and it’s shortcomings.

He highlighted his grievances in 7 points and he could not have been more precise.

Writing on his Facebook page, he started, “My darling country ‪#‎Nigeria‬ where we declare you wanted without first inviting you, then you show up and they say “oh come back tomorrow”

“Seems the whole attack by elements within the Nigerian Army against @ContactSalkida is less because of Boko Haram but more because he’s been consistently countering some of the lies they want to force on the world.”

According to Ogundamisi:

We now know

A. ‪#‎ChibokGirls‬ are in Sambisa Forest

B. Our government don’t have a strategy till date to liberate Sambisa and‪#‎BringBackOurGirls‬

C. Any video that confirms the existence of #ChibokGirls is frowned at by the same government who based it’s election campaign on the inability of the last government to #BringBackOurGirls

D. That both Buhari and Jonathan supporters have equal number of hypocrites.

E. That £1 is now 515 Naira and we need to ARREST the economy slide rather than arresting and tormenting a journalist for receiving an exclusive video that CNN also received in April.

F. That those running the communication unit of Army HQ are making a mess of the progress made by our gallant troops by seeking enemies where there are none and recklessly chasing shadows. The real enemies are in Sambisa Forest holding thousands as human shield and if you want human intelligence you do not bully those who should be your natural assets in the battle against terrorism.

G. That those who are refusing to talk now because they are eating should remember that 4 or 8 years isn’t forever.”
