Corruption in Nigeria is an old song that Nigerians know its harmony too well. With every passing administration, one thing is always promised – ‘we are going to fight corruption to its roots,’ but the harmony seems to get perfected with every of these administrations.
Nigerians, however, are not ignorant of the level of corruption that exists across various sectors of the economy and across various government establishments and agencies. The many who care enough about this problem air their thoughts occasionally, but lately, more attention is being drawn to this old, well-perfected song.
The feasting is everywhere:
NDDC
NNPC
CBN
NPA
Presidential Fertilizer Initiative…
The list is growing…Buhari is presiding over the biggest financial heist in modern history. It can only get worse..

But if corruption has thrived under this administration (and others, arguably), why are people only now, so concerned about corruption; pointing fingers at one agency or the other, calling out one entity or the other and mentioning names and enablers of corruption?
The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) is currently being probed over alleged mismanagement of funds as well as other irregularities, and the wild drama that have emanated from the entire exercise may have ignited the interest of Nigerians to demand a probe of other commissions, agencies and parastatals.
This is just NDDC, now imagine the things going on in NNPC, Ministries, State Governments, etc. Man this country is lucky to be existing till now.

NNPC spent over $100 Million on Kaduna refinery in 1 year
Zero revenue
No Nigerian Lawmaker has called a panel to probe the corruption
E get why
So this nonsense some of you are getting hard over NDDC, it will not work
We will drag the politicians, but you won't control NDDC

On Twitter, a huge number of people are pointing fingers at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Federal Airports Authority Nigeria (FAAN), and a host of government agencies, calling for similar actions with the NDDC applied to them.
NDDC is the focus today
If they throw shovel at Nimasa, same will happen
Throw shovel at customs.. same ni
NNPC? FAAN?
No way Nigeria is developing when 75% of the resources are stolen by less than 10,000 people

NDDC is a tip of the Ice berg. Wait till NNPC qnd other agencies get this kind of show of shame. These politicians keeping looting without mercy

If public hearing is done for NNPC audit. Nigeria go catch fire. The talaka's have been deliberately Impoverished, look at how they are siphoning money meant for the ordinary people, take a look at how they've shamelessly turned our common patrimony to their's. Na God fit save us
— ABD AL- RASHEED (@OchuRasheed) July 21, 2020
In 2019, Mele Kolo Kyari, the Group Managing Director of the NNPC, in a statement, acknowledged that there exists in the NNPC, corruption as he also shared that he would be working transparently with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in fighting the scourge – Not so much has been seen as it relates to fighting corruption in the sector and Nigerians still steadfastly hold the notion that corruption lives there.
Amidst all the drama around NDDC & this unravelling, gargantuan corruption, there's likely a similar, perhaps bigger heist going on at NNPC & the Ministry of Petroleum.
The state set up is merely to collect & divert revenue, not grow it sustainably or foster development.

NNPC the monster of corruption.
EFCC corruption fighter but corruption is fighting it now.
ICPC we don't even know what that one is doing.
NCDC is fighting Coronavirus.
APC is the shield and umbrella for the corrupt.
Like i said before.
C is our problem in this country.

Nigerians in this trend, however, seem only to be interested in the probing of these government regulated establishments as many have drawn attention back to corruption being a beat that every Nigerians dance so well, debating that even after probing, NOTHING might happen to the SUSPECTS.
Corruption agencies
NNPC
EFCC
ICPC
APC
NCDC
PHCN
National Assembly
