A suit filed by Kogi senator, Dino Melaye, challenging the process of recalling him from the Senate has been dismissed by a Federal High Court in Abuja.
Pronouncing his judgment, Justice Nnamdi Dimgba ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to proceed with the recall process.
The judgment has now cancelled an earlier order directing all parties involved to maintain status quo.
He also asked INEC to serve the lawmaker a copy of the petition and a list of petitioners, and that it should amend its timetable and give him a two-week notice.
