A car bomb which exploded near a military check point along Gubio highway in northern Borno on Tuesday morning has left 4 dead and several others injured, SaharaReporters reports.
It was gathered that the incident occurred around 10:30am.
Borno Command, DSP Victor Isuku confirmed the incident.
He said, “There was an explosion today along Gubio Road just before the military check point. According to a preliminary report, a pick up van with 9 persons onboard, emerged from a bush path to join the road to Rubio town when it exploded killing all the persons onboard.”
