YNaija columnist, Japheth Omojuwa arrested in Abuja over #NISProtest

YNaija FrontPage columnist and social media influencer, Japheth Omojuwa has been arrested by the police in Abuja.

Omojuwa had been at the office of the minister of internal affairs, Abba Moro to protest over the unfortunate stampede which happened in Abuja during the National Immigration Service recruitment.

Over twenty people died in the stampede with several others sustaining varying forms of injury in Abuja, Niger and Rivers state.

Japheth Omojuwa was arrested with Uche Briggs, a Public Relations professional and social media influencer.

Several calls to both individuals Omojuwa and Briggs have been unsuccessful.

Uche Briggs spoke with a YNaija reporter this morning before the said protest.
