It’s gets EVEN worse: PDP suspends Baraje, Oyinlola, other key members of new faction

Despite reports of peace meetings and attempts to resolve the crisis plaguing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the leadership of the party has finally decided to slam the hammer down on members of the Abubakar-Baraje led faction of the PDP.

The new faction, which had been relishing its victory in court and counting down to the day its member and former Governor of Osun State, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, would resume as National Secretary of the party, has suffered a huge blow as the main party has suspended some of its prominent members.

Those suspended include “New PDP’ Chairman, Alhaji Baraje, Oyinlola and the National Vice Chairman of the faction, Dr. Sam Sam Jaja. The affected members were reportedly suspended for engaging in “anti-party activities’

Vanguard reports:

Oyinlola according to the leadership of the party would face the Disciplinary Committee chaired by Second Republic Minister of Transport, Alhaji Umaru Dikko, just as the party said it has not received the Wednesday Court of Appeal judgment which ordered his return to the National secretariat as the scribe of the party
