Kaduna State governor, Mallam Nasiru El-Rufai has said the state will purchase drones to tackle insecurity.
The governor said provisions for the purchase of the gadgets was already provided in the 2016 budget.
El-Rufai stated this through his deputy, Mr. Barnabas Yusuf-Bala, who represented him at the presentation of ‘A Child of Destiny, ‘a biography of Ufuwai Bonet, the Chief of Kagoro, in the Kauru Local Government Area of the state.
He said Fulani herdsmen have continued to attack in the Southern part of the state.
He further said people in the northern part had also in the past, suffered from the activities of cattle rustlers.
He assured citizens that insecurity will reduce drastically when the gadgets are purchased.
