The rave of the moment, Davido, spoke exclusively to Dro Ameh on his Hip-hop show – 30 minutes Source with Dro Ameh on Truspot. In the exclusive interview, the singer, producer, and label executive spoke about the direction of his music and the inspiration behind his album.

About his album, he said, “It was recorded within a year at different times – there are songs for every situation and everybody.”

The fast-rising artiste who is taking the music industry by storm recently launched his album in an event which literally put Lagos on lock-down.

Since the release of his smash-hit Dami duro, his career has risen sky high with sold-out shows in Nigeria and abroad.

While speaking to the media in an earlier interview, the energetic 19-year-old said, “I didn’t expect it to be this big at all. When I first started in the industry, I used to tell myself that I don’t want to be too big. But after some time, I started getting bigger and people could recognize me anywhere I go. It’s just crazy.”
