‘I need a platform to take my own decisions’ | Paul of Psquare opens up on new record label (WATCH)

In recent months, members of Africa’s most famous/successful music group, Psquare, have embarked on solo projects.

While Peter has chosen to set up a football management agency; P-Classic group, Paul has stuck to his craft by establishing a record label.

This development has heightened fears among their fans of the possibility of a Psquare split- especially with the recent social media drama that took place between the brothers and Jude Okoye; their elder sibling.

In a bid to calm the fears, Paul Okoye has spoken on the reason behind his new solo project, Rudeboy records.

Speaking to Naij in a recent interview, Paul said he needed the leeway and elbow room to take some decisions without necessarily consulting anyone.

The more demure half of Psquare also assured fans that nothing has changed between the group.

”Nothing has changed. I just needed a platform to where i could take my own decisions.’
