I am ashamed to be called a Nigerian | Peter Okoye slams FG over plan to ban shooting of music videos abroad

Peter Okoye, one of the PSquare brothers has criticised the Federal Government’s plan to stop the shooting of music videos, movies outside the country.

Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed on Saturday said the government is working towards putting an end to the trend.

While responding, Peter said Nigerian artistes have been the ones covering the “shame” politicians “bring upon the country”.

“Another nationality loading,” he added.

  12. Clearly the minister has exhibited crass ignorance of this issue concerning film production. Most box office movies are shot on most appreciate locations world over. If he concentrates his effort at improving scenic spots in Nigeria he will be surprised to find foreign mega movies will be filmed in Nigeria.
